All kinds of release methods Nike uses will be explained here.
- FLOW: This is the most common type of draw. It is a first-come, first-serve release where everyone who enters the draw has an equal chance of winning.
- LEO: This stands for “Launched Exclusively Online.” LEO draws are a hybrid of first-come, first-serve and raffle releases. When a LEO draw opens, you are placed in a queue and randomly selected to win. The draw usually lasts for 2-3 minutes.
- DAN: This stands for “Draw Activated Numbers.” DAN draws are the most exclusive type of draw. They are only used for the most limited-edition sneakers. When a DAN draw opens, you have 10-30 minutes to enter your name into the draw. Nike then randomly selects the winners.
The type of draw that is used for a particular release will depend on the level of demand for the sneakers. FLOW releases are used for general-release sneakers, while LEO and DAN releases are used for more limited-edition sneakers.
